Students applying for admission are as a rule, subjected to a test.
No student less than 52 years and more than 6 ½ years will be admitted to class I. For the next higher classes add one year to each class.
For N.C. admission the child should be 2 years and 9 months or should be below 3 years 6 months in April.
Documents needed for New Admission are:
A) Birth Certificate from Municipality for Classes N.C.-I (Mandatory). B) Aadhaar Card Copy of student. C) Aadhaar Card Copy of parents. D) Transfer Certificate. E) Original Mark sheet of the previous class. F) Caste Certificate of the Child. G) Domicile Certificate. H) Blood Group Report by CMO.
All those who are studying in U.K.G. will be admitted in Class I. Parents of U.K.G. students will have to fill New Admission Form for Class I. Make sure that all details are entered correctly as per the supporting documents. No changes will be permitted in the Admission Form at any stage.
The date of birth of a student once entered will not be changed. The parents/guardian will have to sign an undertaking to this effect (as per Cir. No. 110/7-1 (5) 1081-82 dated 15th Oct. 1981 of the Inspector of Schools, Lucknow.)
No student will be admitted without a transfer certificate from the last School attended and in no case shall a student be permitted to attend classes pending formal admission.
The transfer certificate of a student joining from a School outside Uttar Pradesh must be counter signed by the Educational Authorities of the District in which the previous school is situated.
(a) When a student is admitted on a transfer Certificate he/she shall not be placed in any class higher than that for which the certificate shows him/her to be qualified; nor will he/she be promoted before the end of the academic year. (b) Students seeking admission to Std. XI must fulfill the following requirements.
i)The candidate is required to fill a registration form from the School.
ii) The selection is done strictly on the basis of merit i.e. grades obtained in the C.B.S.E. examination plus marks obtained in the Pre-Board Examination.
iii)To choose Science stream, student should have 70% marks for Science and Maths. To choose Commerce stream with Maths, student should have 70% marks in Maths. The final decision regarding stream depends on the discretion of the Principal.
